The team at Jackson Family Funeral Services offered a limo and driver to take friends of their family to the prom last week.
Intended initially to be a service for friends and family of the team only, the local Funeral Director has now extended their offer to those who wouldn’t be able to afford something like this for their sons or daughters to travel to their prom.
Funeral Support Operative, Rachele Watson says: “We don’t charge for hire, but families are asked to make a donation to the charity ‘Stevie Stones’. This donation isn’t disclosed to us and there is no set amount, it’s whatever a family can afford.
Last Wednesday evening it was an honour to take the limo to Thornbury to take the daughter of a friend of mine to her prom. It went really well and we have now extended this service to others who may have difficulty in affording limo hire for occasions like these.”
