As part of their annual initiative, St Richard’s Hospice planted hundreds of hand-crafted sculptures of snowdrop flowers to raise money for its care.
Like last year, Jackson Family Funeral Directors were honoured to be sponsors of the speciale event, which saw St Richards Hospice create the Celebration Garden, on display from yesterday (Friday 9th August) for the next two-and-a-half weeks at The Hive in Worcester.
The garden aims to celebrate the life of lost loved ones, and those who donated to have a snowdrop in the garden will be able to take it home at the end of the installation.
As seen on BBC News, Emily Gicquel said: “Supporting Celebration Garden each year helps us feel close to Mum.
“We recently visited the hospice to take a stroll in its beautiful gardens and the feeling was still the same – we felt connected.
“St Richard’s will always be part of our family, and when the snowdrops are all in place we’ll know there are hundreds of others who feel the same.”
The garden display will be taken down on 26 August.
