JACKSON’S ON PAR WITH ‘CASH FOR KIDS’ CAMPAIGN
In the first ever Charity Adventure Golf Open organised by Free Radio’s charity ‘Cash For Kids’, Jackson Family Funeral Directors swung into action to help raise money to support disadvantaged children across the Midlands.
On Friday 28th June, Worcestershire’s Ravenmeadow Golf Course was host to the first ever Charity Adventure Golf Open whereby local businesses were invited to take part in the 18-hole crazy golf style challenge to raise much needed funds for vulnerable children across the region. Jackson Family Funeral Directors, who are keen supporters of many local children’s charities, joined forces with local businesses in a charity golf challenge with a difference. With a trophy up for grabs for the winning team, the stakes were high, bringing out the competitive streak in over 60 individuals who took part in the challenge.
Laura Jackson, Director at Jackson Family Funeral Directors explains, “Supporting local charities is very important to us so we were delighted to get involved in the Charity Adventure Golf Open. It really was fundraising with a difference and seeing so many local businesses involved added to a very special afternoon raising money for Cash For Kids.’ She adds ‘The team at Jackson Family Funeral Directors would like to congratulate everyone involved in organising the event, it was a huge success raising £1,500 in total!”.
Having raised over £21.4 million in 2018 and supporting more than 1 million children across the UK, Free Radios ‘Cash for Kids' continues to bring communities together in a fun and energising way. Jackson Family Funeral Directors are continuing their support for local charities in 2019, as well as working in synergy with local businesses.
Having recently acquired Andrew Phillips Funeral Directors and their branches in Worcester and Malvern, Jackson’s continue their plans for growth adding to their existing branches in Pershore and Upton-upon-Severn.
